Arsenal are set to hand manager Arsene Wenger a new three-year contract and a summer transfer kitty of £46 million.
The News of the World says the Highbury board have moved to reward him on the eve of today's Premiership clash at Manchester United.
His current £3m-a-year deal expires in May 2008 but Arsenal maintain Wenger has a job for life at Highbury if he wishes.
Wenger has been told he will be handed at least £20m this summer.
But that figure will be boosted by a further £26m if the Londoners win the European Cup.
An Arsenal insider confirmed: "All the money we earn from the Champions League will be given to Arsene to be invested in the squad."
