Kenyon dismisses Jose rift

Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon has laughed off talk that has suggested a rift is developing between him and manager Jose Mourinho.
Speculation has been rife of late that the pair are at loggerheads and that they are barely on speaking terms due to a clash over who will be this summer's transfer targets.
With Kenyon having a big part to play in the negotiations of potential new recruits, this is reported to not sit well with Mourinho, who has always maintained complete control of his playing staff.
Kenyon is currently in China along with London major Ken Livingston in a bid to promote relations between London and Beijing ahead of the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
The Chelsea chief spoke of how Chelsea have offered the Chinese football team use of their training ground ahead of the 2008 Games, before scotching rumours of any ill-feeling at Stamford Bridge.
''I am 100 percent happy with him. It is just fabrication,'' stated Kenyon.
Kenyon, whose role at Chelsea mirrors the one he previously held at Manchester United, also claims his new club are now as popular in China as the one he left behind to move to West London.
"We have seen our fan base go up by 300 percent in the last two years,'' he added to Radio London.
"We have been looking at research in China which shows we are as popular as Manchester United, whereas two years ago we were not even on the same radar scope.
"I think the importance of having a successful team is critical to all this and we are going in the right direction on that front.''
