Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez says Robbie Fowler is edging ever closer to a new contract after his winner against Blackburn Rovers yesterday.
Benitez said: "If Robbie continues to score goals then it'll be an easy decision. The more he scores, the more he's likely to stay. He is working hard because he loves Liverpool."
It was Fowler's third goal in as many games - the first time he has achieved the feat since 1997.
