Newcastle watch as O'Neill holds Eriksson talks

Martin O'Neill has held talks with England manager Sven Goran Eriksson about the job.

Eriksson and the man who is the FA's top choice to succeed him were both guests of Fulham at their 3-1 home defeat by Portsmouth on Saturday.
The duo chatted in the boardroom with O'Neill quizzing the Swede about the workload and pressures of international management.
O'Neill has the choice of succeeding Eriksson or becoming manager of Newcastle in the summer.
But he has not worked since leaving Celtic last year to care for his sick wife Geraldine.
He is still weighing up all options but could favour the England job as it may allow more time to attend to family matters.
Yet O'Neill has refused to rule himself out of the Newcastle reckoning.
The Ulsterman refused to comment at Craven Cottage on either vacancy.
