Tottenham midfielder Michael Carrick insists they did not play dirty to open the scoring in yesterday's 1-1 draw at Arsenal.
Robbie Keane had put the visitors ahead just after the hour with a tap-in while the Gunners had Emmanuel Eboue down injured after he had collided with team-mate Gilberto on the half-way line.
Carrick insisted Spurs did not intentionally take advantage of Eboue being down.
"It happened so quick that I did not know he was down injured," the England midfield hopeful told reporters.
"I was concentrating on getting us forwards. Unfortunately there is a bit of controversy about it.
"I did not know he (Eboue) was down injured otherwise I would have put the ball out.
"You do not want to score goals like that, but it is just the way it happened."
