Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos has confirmed his agents have held talks with Chelsea.
"There is nothing signed, although, yes, they have told me that Chelsea want me," said Roberto Carlos. "I have answered them that they have to speak with Real Madrid.
"It is a time of elections and I have a contract. I do not know what is going to happen in the elections and I must know if the new president and the new trainer want me.
"It is true that there is something from Chelsea and if it takes shape it would hurt me to leave Madrid after so many years."
