Bettega, Moggi set to resign from Juventus

Juventus directors Luciano Moggi and Roberto Bettega are expected to sensationally resign on Thursday.

Juve patron John Elkann hinted on Sunday night that the Triade would not survive last week's wiretapping scandal and it's emerged today that both Moggi and Bettega were asked before Elkann went public to hand in their resignations this week.
Credible Juve sources have confirmed that the Agnelli family want a clean break from the Triade and along with Bettega and Moggi, Antonio Giraudo is also being asked to fall on his own sword.
Moggi comes off contract at the end of this season and is being courted by Serie A rivals. Bettega, however, has a year to run on his deal and it's said if he digs in his heels the Juve board will sack him.
