UAE's Al Jazira chase Real Madrid's Roberto Carlos

UAE's Al Jazira are chasing Real Madrid superstar Roberto Carlos.

The Brazilian still has two years left on his Real contract, but is expected to be sold in the summer with Chelsea and Fenerbahce also interested.
Roberto Carlos has a big profile in the UAE and the wealthy backers of Al Jazira want to bring him to the Middle East to help the football boom being experienced in the region.
Meanwhile, Real teammate Ronaldo is in the sights of Qatar football. A high-ranking official with Qatar's Olympic Committee was in Madrid last week and made enquiries about Ronaldo's interest in playing in the Middle East.
