Fulham boss Chris Coleman has admitted he would love to sign Chelsea left-back Wayne Bridge on a permanent deal in the summer.
"If Bridge gets into England's World Cup squad - and I am quite sure he will because he deserves to - it will be difficult for us to get him," he said.
"I don't know what Chelsea want to do. We would love to have him but we would have to wait and see because of the price he will cost. We have to make sure we sign the right players.
"There's not a big market when we buy players. Most players are either under long contracts or don't have visas.
"That narrows it down and we have to make sure what we bring in is better than what we have got."
