Pellegrini sides with Spurs against Arsenal's Wenger

Villarreal coach Manuel Pellegrini has blasted Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, branding him a 'hypocrite'.
He claimed Wenger's side failed to kick the ball out when HIS players were injured in the Spaniards' 1-0 Highbury defeat - yet the Gunners boss blew his top after Spurs did the same on Saturday.

Pellegrini raged: "I don't think it's right Arsenal players don't stop playing so an opponent can be treated - and then Wenger moans when his players are down and the match continues."
Wenger accused Villarreal of being cheats and divers in last Wednesday's first leg.
But Pellegrini fumed: "Against us at Highbury, Wenger didn't want his players to send the ball out when our players were injured as he thought we were trying to trick the referee.
"Some teams use this system but I don't allow my players to do that. I believe in fair play. If a player is injured, the ball should be thrown out. I think Wenger got the other side of the coin this weekend against Tottenham."
The Gunners boss claimed Spurs cheated in Saturday's 1-1 draw.
Michael Carrick and Edgar Davids played on with two Gunners players down injured and, seconds later, Robbie Keane put Spurs ahead.
But Wenger hit back at Pellegrini and insisted: "Everyone saw what happened last week and I don't think we did anything wrong. I think we were very fair in our behaviour - just like we were on Saturday.
"What can we do if the other team is falling over all the time? We can only be responsible for our own behaviour and when something is not right we have to stand up and say something."
Pellegrini also blasted Thierry Henry for accusing Villarreal of time- wasting. He said: "If he thought my players were faking injury, he should have seen the injuries we had."
