Siena president defends Juventus relationship

Siena president Paolo De Luca has defended their relationship with Juventus.
"It's simple. Juventus is the only club among the large ones prepared to meet the requirements of a small club like ours," said De Luca.

"Siena is not in a position to make big purchases, therefore we need such relationships. There are loan players, but also here, Juventus is a club that has given boys to us in co-ownership.
"This is more favourable to us because we can make money should the player improve while with our team."
Asked about their looming clash with Juve and questions about their commitment to the game, De Luca added: "To be friends with a club does not mean we'll put a brake on our players.
"For us, the match against Juventus is the game of our lives - we're trying to stay in Serie A and Juve are battling for the Scudetto.
"There can be no doubts about our commitment."
