Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has confirmed coach Pepe Murcia's future depends on the club qualifying for Europe this season.
Murcia stepped in as caretaker following the exit of Carlos Bianchi in midseason and Cerezo said: "We won't make a decision on the coach until May.
"If Pepe qualifies us for Europe, then I believe he must stay. If not, then we will have to consider things."
