Racing Santander coach Manolo Preciado has offered his resignation after yesterday's defeat by Getafe.
"I have offered my resignation because I feel powerless to fix the dynamic slide in which the team is in now," he said.
"I do not want to see it die, so here is my head. I am a Racinguista, I was as a player and I have already twice been a trainer. I hope that my decision helps to raise the spirits of the team.
"This is not consequence of a fever, but a decision made from good sense. A revitalising change is needed."
