Birmingham skipper Cunningham: Sullivan has apologised

Birmingham City co-owner David Sullivan has apologised for his attack on the club's players.

Skipper Kenny Cunningham said: "I phoned the chairman and voiced my concerns about a number of issues touched on in his interview.
"We had a frank and honest exchange of views which concluded with the chairman asking me to pass on his apologies to the players for any offence he caused.
"As far as I am concerned that is the matter closed."
Cunningham added: "We know everybody is going to have their say, from fans to the media, but to a certain extent we have to cut ourselves off from that and focus on the things we can affect."
