Chelsea's Makelele brands Man Utd boss Ferguson "a loser"

Claude Makelele says the only way Manchester United can ever catch Chelsea is if they dump Sir Alex Ferguson and replace him with Jose Mourinho.
The midfielder told the News of the World: "Chelsea are not arrogant. Arrogance is to go public saying another team will lose and then lose yourself.

"Only losers do that. In that sense you could say that Ferguson is a loser. He may have won a lot of things but he doesn't have class.

"He should come out and recognise how good we are and give credit to Mourinho and the players.

"Because, believe me, we are the champions. And we will be the champions again."

Makelele added: "I played for Real Madrid for many years and we never thought about the opposition, just of ourselves and how we perform.

"Mourinho will only talk to us about our team and the opposition's weaknesses and tactics.

"You could say the solution for United would be to take Mourinho as manager. But that will never happen in a million years as long as Roman Abramovich wants him to stay at Stamford Bridge."
