Man Utd's Van Nistelrooy back in Real Madrid sights

Real Madrid are back on the trail of Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.

The Sun says Van Nistelrooy has sounded out Real Madrid about a possible transfer.
The Dutch ace, 29, is weighing up his options after losing his untouchable status at Old Trafford.
Spanish giants Real tried to sign Van Nistelrooy two seasons ago and were denied again when they wanted to use Michael Owen in a swap deal last summer.
Signs are that Real will add Van Nistelrooy to their summer wish-list.
President Fernando Martin said: "We want the best players to come to the club."
