Real Madrid president panics over Arsenal's Henry stand-off

Real Madrid president Fernando Martin wants an answer from Arsenal captain Thierry Henry before a board meeting on Wednesday.

Martin has instructed agent Zoran Vekic, who represents Guti and is close to the Real supremo, to clinch a commitment with Henry that he can take to his directors at next week's meeting.
If not Henry, then Martin has told Vekic to try for Mahmadou Diarra (Olympique Lyon), Cristian Chivu (Roma) or Lucio (Bayern Munich).
Martin's desperation is drawing criticism, with one source telling AS: "Now isn't the time to push Henry. He has his Champions League commitments and doesn't want to upset Arsenal fans.
"This could bring great damage to the image of Real Madrid."
