Alessio Tacchinardi has revealed Villarreal will sign Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires.
On-loan from Juventus, Tacchinardi has held talks with Villarreal president Fernando Roig about a permanent deal and declared: "The president has assured me that Pires from Arsenal and the Turk, Nihat, from Real Soceidad will join us next season."
Both Nihat and Pires will be off contract in June.
